Student debt is now the second largest form of consumer debt in the U.S., totaling $1.3 trillion dollars. The vast majority of college graduates, more than 43 million, are leaving campus in debt from education expenses. Tuitions have been rising as public support of education has decreased. He has been teaching at Helsinki, Finland since 1996 and travels as a visiting professor at institutions all over the world.   Highlander will provide organic free range meat and non-alcoholic beverages. Remembering Guy Carawan-Community Sing September 25, 2015

A Community Sing Memorial Tribute with singers and musicians  from the eras of Guy’s life Friday, September 25, 2015 7 pm to 8:30 pm There will be a dinner prior to the memorial tribute (no charge), from 5:30 – 6:30, prepared by Highlander staff, with the tribute beginning at 7p (7 – 8:30p).  If you plan to attend the dinner, please RSVP to Thomas Coward at tcoward@highlandercenter.org. There is no need to register if you are only coming to Guy’s Memorial. There will be guest books for signing at the event.
