Join Us
Join us Sunday, September 6 (Labor Day weekend) from 2-9 for Highlander’s Homecoming and Apple Fair!
This year we are celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Highlander’s Children’s Camp. Come and hear the remarkable things our former campers are doing.
There will be great music, children’s activities, workshops on What’s Up at Highlander and Mountaintop Removal (including The Cost of Coal banner from Beehive Collective). We will have dinner, and as always, old and new friends are all welcome!
Dancing at Homecoming 2008.
As you drive up the hill, take a look at our new organically grown garden. Feel free to take a tour and see all of the vegetables that have been planted.
Also while you’re here, enjoy Gala, Golden Delicious, and Grimes Golden apples! This year we’ve been working hard as we begin cultivating our orchard organically, restoring the land with environmentally friendly food production. Pick your own apples or buy already picked apples to help support the orchard and Highlander’s work.
