On October 26, 2008, twelve members of the Good Karma Gardening Circle and other friends of Highlander spent the day preparing the gardens at Highlander’s office and the Horton House for winter. They also shared great conversation, enjoyed a delicious lunch, picked apples in Highlander’s new orchard, and examined an enormous praying mantis.

Many thanks to everyone who participated in the gardening day, and to Rosalind Hacket for helping to organizing it. It’s great to know that the gardens are ready for winter, and they look beautiful too.
