Interest Applications for Host Communities who would like to become a part of the Appalachian Transition Fellowship are due Wednesday, November 27! Host Communities will be made up of 2 or 3 institutions or a network of 3 or more institut…ions working to strengthen economic transition in the Appalachian region through projects in health, local food, energy, and other emerging economic sectors. Host communities will receive an immediate capacity boost and the devoted time and energy of the fellow, as well as skill building tools and increased collaboration, while helping to create a more just and sustainable regional economy.
